Aokzoe does it too
June 13th, 2025 by the hha team
Aokzoe just launched the successor to their A1 line of Windows handhelds: the A1X.
This huge 8-inch screen chonky boi has it all, and it competes with the likes of the MSI Claws, the Ayaneo 3, and Lenovo Legion Go S to name just a few.
Of course, the end goal of all these devices is to surpass the Steam Deck, the streamlined pc handheld of choice. Check out this comparison to see how it holds up against its main rivals, and check out this other one to compare all of the devices by Aokzoe so far.
Anyway, if you have some money to spare, want more than a Steam Deck, and don't like MSI, check the Aokzoe A1x out!

Battle of the 3-50s
June 10th, 2025 by the hha team
Anbernic is back at its regular cadence of one device per month. This is good! We are huge Anbernic fanboys at handheldsarena :)
We now have the 35xx pro, which is oddly similar to the mysterious BatleXP G350, a very new brand that has released... checks notes... ONE single device so far. Some rumors credit BatleXP as some Anbernic spinoff, so take this with a grain of salt, but the similarities between the two device shells are striking.
So, what is this new 35xx pro? Well, it's basically the 35xx h, but v... Which is what we would call it... But anyway, it's another H700 device, and we already know how capable that setup is :)
Here's a comparison to help you decide between the most compelling alternatives from Anbernic. If anything, check it out to clear any doubts about the naming and see the real differences spec by spec!
Happy gaming!

2 Switch is 2 Live
June 6th, 2025 by the hha team
The moment we've all been waiting for is finally here! The Nintendo Switch 2 has been officially released. With its custom Ampere GPU, the Switch 2 is a significant leap in terms of graphics performance compared to its predecessor. However, with underwhelming battery life and a game library that is still embryonic, the Switch 2 is also kind of a "mixed bag"... As are most consoles at launch.
Youtubers are already disassembling it and analyzing its performance and features, and we at Handheldsarena have combed through all the Switch models' specs and features to bring you the most comprehensive and easy-glance of the new console features, especially when compared to the rest of the Nintendo Switch family.
Have a look at this comparison, decide if this is the console for you, and, of course, happy gaming!

Flip Kiddy, flip!
May 25th, 2025 by the hha team
The tides have indeed been flippin' lately with the Powkiddy V90S, a device that has recently entered its preorder phase and is already making waves in the handheld gaming scene.
A successor to the popular Powkiddy V90 from 5 years ago (that's 5 centuries if measured in Pandemic Mean Time), the V90S is a compact clamshell handheld that boasts a 3.5-inch 4:3 IPS display, tied to an Allwinner a133 plus and a PowerVR GE8300 for that graphical 3d rotating and shaded cherry on top.
The competition is fierce, with the likes of both the Anbernics rg-34xx-sp and rg-35xx-sp. No one ever said this would be an easy win for Powkiddy, but the V90S is certainly making a strong case for itself: sometimes less is more!
Check out this comparison with the previous V90 model from a distant 2020, as well as the previously mentioned Anbernics.
Happy gaming, and may your emulated flips be ever in your favor!
