Remember the Ayaneo Pocket Micro? Well, now, imagine your pain as a white ball of healing d-pads... With no analog sticks in sight, that's basically the metallic, shiny, and new Ayaneo Pocket Micro Classic!
We're back at that sweet, sweet 3:2 aspect ratio, perfect for GBA games. Ayaneo did not spare any expenses and released a truly premium GBA experience complete with a whopping 6GB of RAM, Android 13, and basically the exact same internals as their more analog-oriented Pocket Micro.
Check out this 3:2 device comparison, which shows the main competitors of Ayaneo Pocket Micro and Classic.
Finally, be sure to check out the other bunch of premium Ayaneo devices. Happy gaming!

OneXplayer G1
March 20th, 2025 by the hha team
Remember that super interesting and somewhat familiar liminal space between a portable computer, a tablet, and a console with detachable... things? Yeah, this is another weird one, it's the OneXplayer G1 featuring a detachable qwerty keyboard that seems to be just out of this world :)
Right on the heels of the recently released OneXplayer X1 Pro, this is yet another AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 APU: super powerful, high-end 32GB RAM, Windows 11, perfect for emulating everything you end up throwing at it.
So basically, it's a netbook? A laptop? A mini laptop? You decide :) It has a d-pad, so it's clearly a handheld: we don't discriminate here at Handheldsarena.
Check out this comparison to check out this unique device's equally unique competitors, specifically from GPD with their Win Minis and Maxes.
If you've already decided your next handheld is going to be from One Netbook, be sure to check out this comparison with their latest devices.

OneXplayer X1 Pro
March 10th, 2025 by the hha team
There's a liminal space between a portable computer, a tablet, and a console with detachable controllers that only certain brands have dared to venture into. Nintendo has done with the Switch, Pimax as well with its Portal handheld and, to some degree (we're being extra nice here!), Razer with its Razer Edge 5G.
Another one of those special brands is One Netbook with its OneXplayer line of handhelds, specifically with the X1 line, with the just released X1 Pro.
It's an AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 APU, so it's as powerful as one can get in terms of handheld processing power. We're high-end here, and the OneXplayer X1 Pro spares no features (and also no expenses): this is a very capable big tablet, a portable pc even, with detachable controllers, runs Windows 11, and has 32GB RAM. It's insanely powerful, compact (for its tablet form factor roots) and performant.
Check out this comparison for an evolution of the X1 line of handhelds from One Netbook, or this one, which shows its most powerful rivals.
The previous post was about cheap handhelds, and with this post, we're back to the highest end of the spectrum :)
